IN FIRST SUPERSTAR SHOWDOWN MATCH

Online poker enigma Isildur1 has been the hottest topic in the poker
community during the past week, having first joined the ranks of Team
PokerStars Pro, and having subsequently played some long sessions at
PokerStars.com with some attention-grabbing swings.

This weekend the railbirds are set to go crazy when he takes on his first SuperStar Showdown challenger at PokerStars.com and we can now reveal that the first player to take on Isildur1 is Isaac ‘philivey2694’ Haxton.

Haxton is a formidable online and live opponent with experience at the
very highest cash game levels online. His best results are runner-up
finishes at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event in 2007 for

SuperStar Showdown
Both Haxton and Isildur1 will hit the virtual felt on Sunday, December 19
at 18.00 ET for the heads-up cash game, which will be played over exactly
2,500 hands of $50/$100 no-limit Hold’em with each player taking a
bankroll of $150,000 into the match. The winner is the player that shows
either a profit after 2,500 hands, or wins all of their opponent’s match
bankroll.
